Cumulative Frequency Question? ( The question isn't a long as it looks)?

I don't understand what this question is asking %26amp; how to do it...can anyone help? I have a test tomorrow so please help, thanks!

The owner of a fleet of trucks is interested in the number of breakdowns that occur every

month. He takes a random sample of n = 16 months and notes the number of breakdowns

for that month. The16 values are as follows.

10, 6, 7, 4, 8, 12, 8, 4, 10, 8, 6, 8, 9, 3, 4 and 15

The sum of these values and the sum of the squares of these values are as follows

QUESTION 6

The fleet owner wants to obtain a cumulative frequency distribution table with these

intervals where the cumulative frequency values are the frequencies up to the start or lower

end of each interval. The starting values or lower ends for the intervals are

0, 4, 8, 12 and 16

Which of the following sets of cumulative frequency values is correct

(a) 0, 4, 7, 14 and 16

(b) 0, 1, 7, 14 and 16

(c) 1, 4, 7, 14 and 16

(d) 0, 2, 7, 12 and 16

Cumulative Frequency Question? ( The question isn't a long as it looks)?
The frequencies are

%26lt;0

0 - 3

4 - 7

8 - 11

12 - 15

From the 16 given values, how often do the

numbers 0 - 3 appear? (1)

Numbers 4 - 7? (6)

Numbers 8 - 11? (7)

numbers 12 - 15? (2)

A cumulative frequency adds those as you go along.

So....

%26lt;0 =%26gt; 0

0 - 3 =%26gt; 1

4 - 7 =%26gt; 1 + 6 = 7

8 - 11 =%26gt; 7 + 7 = 14

12 - 15 =%26gt; 14 + 2 = 16

Which is option B
